Bespoke Cabinetry For an Arts & Crafts Country House

Given Chuchwood Design’s reputation for craftsmanship and our bespoke manufacturing flexibility, we are - from time to time - asked by architects and interior designers to help interpret their furniture ideas and to make them a reality, just as with this particular project.

This Derbyshire Arts and Crafts country house was fully refurbished by local building contractors, ‘HA Briddon Ltd,’ under the direction of revered architects and interior designers, Ben Pentreath Ltd. The kitchen furniture was constructed and finished to Ben Pentreath Ltd’s exact design and specification, with painted solid wood cabinetry using a combination of flush panel and shaker style doors, and worktops in 40mm thick quarter sawn oak.

We are very proud to have worked on such a wonderful project, producing the made to measure cabinetry not only for the kitchen, but the pantry, laundry room, boot room and bathroom. Some of this furniture can be seen in the ‘Other Rooms’ section of the website.
