A Bespoke Painted Kitchen in an Estate Cottage

We were asked to design a new kitchen for a delightfully quirky cottage in an estate village, which is a place we all fell a little in love with! The clients chief wish was a large AGA, which she wanted near the windows, as previously the range cooker had been on the opposite wall and she felt she always had her back to the view of the garden. Secondary was plenty of practical storage space. We included features such as vertical slots for oven trays and a good mix of cupboards and drawers. There is a full height integrated fridge in one corner, with a tall cupboard that combines storage space and display space alongside. The shaker style cabinets are painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Purbeck Stone’, and are topped with granite worktops.
