'Sally' Painted Traditional Cottage Platerack

‘Sally’ is the platerack that started it all! This design was created by our business founder, Mark, almost forty years ago, and we have been supplying them along with our bespoke kitchens ever since. Handmade from solid wood, with a hand-painted finish that contrasts with the oak bars, this traditional style wall mounted platerack will be a useful and attractive addition to any cottage or farmhouse style kitchen. This platerack is hand-painted in Cornish Milk Mineral Paint 'The Potter', which is a gorgeous Wedgwood blue.

You will receive the platerack shown in the photos, the specification of which is as follows:

Dimensions:

Width - 61cm

Depth - 28cm

Height - 81cm

Plate sizes - The top shelf will hold plates up to 27cm in diameter. The bottom shelf will held plates up to 20cm in diameter. There are nine plate slots in each shelf and each slot will hold two or three plates (depending on the depth of your plates).

Materials and finish: This Sally platerack is made from pine and oak and is handmade and hand painted in our Derbyshire workshop. The dowels can be removed to make cleaning the shelves easier.

Installation: The platerack is supplied fitted with two hanging brackets so you can fasten it to the wall. Once loaded with plates there is a lot of weight in the rack, so please ensure you have good fixings using screws/plugs etc suitable for your wall type! Please note that fixings are not included.
